On Friday, March 20, 2026, Agronomist Marcelin Aubourg, Minister of Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Rural Development, received the Ambassador of Brazil to Haiti, Luis Guilherme Da Silva.

On the agenda :

- Strengthening and guiding agricultural cooperation;

- Addressing the issue of food insecurity through interventions capable of providing short- and medium-term solutions, such as support for specific agricultural sectors;

- Irrigation;

- Agricultural mechanization;

- Technical and postgraduate training at two levels;

- Mobilizing funds to help the sector fulfill its responsibilities.
