iciHaiti - PNH : Fingerprint Training

On Monday, March 23, 2026, at the National Police Academy (ANP), as part of the decentralization policy for issuing police certificates, implemented by the Central Directorate of the Judicial Police (DCPJ), a training course in fingerprinting (a technique for identifying individuals based on the study of fingerprints) began for 35 police officers to enhance their technical skills. These officers come from the following departments: Northeast, Northwest, Artibonite, Central, Grand'Anse, Nippes, and Southeast.

The objective is to equip the departments concerned with qualified personnel to process and issue this essential document to citizens.

Following this training, the trained officers will be able to operate directly in the capitals of their respective departments.

This measure aims to bring judicial services closer to the population, reducing delays and travel to the capital.
