Agricultural input fairs in Sainte-Suzanne

As part of the spring agricultural campaign, the commune of Sainte-Suzanne (Northeast Department) is hosting agricultural input fairs from March 23 to 27, 2026, under the auspices of the Ministry of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Rural Development (MARNDR).

During the first day, held in the Sarazin communal section, approximately 250 beneficiaries received yam seedlings and banana cuttings from twelve input suppliers.

The following days will continue in other communal sections. These fairs, which mark the beginning of a series, are intended to strengthen government action in agricultural productivity and the fight against food insecurity.

These activities are part of the Program to Support Agricultural and Fisheries Productivity and Improve Rural Infrastructure for Market Access (PAPAIR), an initiative of the Ministry of Agriculture in partnership with the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).
