PNH : The South mobilizes its forces to secure the department

Inspector General Jacques Joël Orival, Central Director of Administrative Police, is mobilizing forces in the South to secure the department. To this end, he held a working session with the heads of police stations, substations, post commanders, and administrative staff of the South Department. The purpose of this session was to assess the security situation in the department, obtain a precise overview, and identify the challenges faced by local units in carrying out their missions.

The discussions focused on preventive measures to be implemented to counter any potential advances by armed gangs, thus guaranteeing the protection of the population and the stability of sensitive areas.

Furthermore, participants addressed the necessary preparations for the upcoming elections, defining operational mechanisms to ensure a peaceful and secure electoral process.

Finally, this working session provided an opportunity to identify the department's urgent needs—logistical, human, and material—in order to provide immediate and appropriate responses. Furthermore, Inspector General Orival took advantage of his presence in the South to visit the police stations in Aquin and Cavaillon and inquire about their needs.

Through this approach of close engagement and consultation, the DCPA reaffirms the institution's commitment to strengthening the cohesion of law enforcement and maintaining an effective State presence throughout the country.
