At borders series of measures from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry

The Northeast Departmental Directorate of Trade and Industry has announced a series of border measures aimed at strengthening controls on all goods entering the country.

These measures are designed to improve product monitoring, ensure compliance with established standards, and protect consumers from non-compliant or potentially dangerous products.

Measures :

• Enhanced controls at points of entry;

• Verification of documents and the origin of goods;

• Collaboration with other relevant state institutions such as Customs, Public Health, CONATEL (National Telecommunications Council), etc.;

• Raising awareness among agents and economic operators regarding compliance with regulations.

It should be noted that the Ministry of Trade and Industry is responsible for regulating commercial activities at the border, granting authorizations for the entry of certain goods, and coordinating its actions with other state institutions.

The Departmental Directorate calls on all stakeholders to cooperate and respect these measures, which aim to protect the national economy and the well-being of the population.
