Emergency work to facilitate traffic in downtown Port-au-Prince

The Ministry of Public Works (MTPTC) is continuing its emergency interventions in the Port-au-Prince metropolitan area, particularly in the city center, to facilitate traffic flow and allow residents to carry out their activities despite the current security situation.

These works are part of the government's efforts to support the gradual reopening of public spaces, while security forces, in collaboration with the Gang Repression Force, continue their deployment in the field to strengthen operations to reclaim and stabilize the area.

Ongoing interventions include :

Martin Luther King Avenue (Samida Intersection area) :

Laying asphalt concrete to improve the road surface;

Nazon :

Maintenance and traffic improvement work;

Rue des Casernes :

Resurfacing with the addition of materials on the section between Boulevard Jean-Jacques Dessalines and Boulevard Harry Truman.
