Acting on information from the Government Commissioner at the Court of First Instance of Aquin, the Haitian National Police (PNH) conducted an immediate operation on National Road 2, at the Carrefour Bè Dimèl intersection, also known as "Carrefour Gandhy" located in the second communal section of Saint-Louis du Sud.

This operation resulted in a significant drug bust and the seizure of 19 packages of marijuana concealed inside three bags of charcoal left by the roadside. Agents from the Bureau for Combating Drug Trafficking (BLTS) tested the substances, and the results confirmed that they were indeed marijuana.

At the request of the Chief Prosecutor, the presiding Justice of the Peace, Walker Saint Jean, went to the scene to conduct the official investigation.
