Easter Message by Secretary of State for Persons with Disabilities

During the Easter season, marked by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, Génard Joseph, the Secretary of State for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities in Haiti, addresses a message to all people living with disabilities in the country.

"This spiritual moment, full of hope and renewal, reminds us that the resurrection is the promise of new life for all humanity, without distinction. This new life, founded on love, dignity, and justice, is also yours. You are at the heart of this hope.

As Secretary of State for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities, I want to assure you of my deep, constant, and unwavering commitment to improving your living conditions.

Your struggle is my struggle. Every day, I resolutely pursue the fight for the full, real, and effective inclusion of people living with disabilities in all spheres of social, economic, and political life in our country.

I am fully aware of the challenges you face every day. But I want to tell you, with deep empathy and sincere respect, that your courage, resilience, and dignity are a source of inspiration for the entire nation.

During this Easter season, may the light of the risen Christ renew your strength, fortify your hope, and remind you that you are not alone. Together, we will continue to build a more just, more inclusive, and more humane society, where everyone has their place and can fully flourish.

Please accept, dear sisters and brothers, my most heartfelt thoughts and warmest wishes."
