An important meeting was held this week at the Ministry of Youth between Minister Pythagore Dumas, accompanied by his Chief of Staff, Innocent Joseph, and representatives from over twenty youth movements representing various leading political parties in the country, to discuss updating the national youth policy.

In line with Prime Minister Fils-Aimé's vision, this initiative reflects the commitment of the highest authorities to placing youth at the heart of national priorities by fostering open, pluralistic, and constructive dialogue among the various stakeholders.

During this meeting, youth movement leaders were invited to play an active role in this participatory process, working with young people from their respective communities to gather their grievances, expectations, and proposals. The goal is to produce an inclusive strategic document that accurately reflects the aspirations of Haitian youth in all their diversity.

Through this initiative, the Ministry of Youth, under the leadership of Minister Pythagore Dumas, reaffirms its commitment to establishing participatory governance and building a more dynamic, inclusive, and results-oriented national youth policy for the benefit of all young people in the country.
