Eng. Théophil Ostinvil, Director General of the National Directorate of Drinking Water and Sanitation (DINEPA), accompanied in particular by his technical team, the Ambassadors of the European Union, Spain and France and a representative of the Interministerial Committee for Territorial Planning (CIAT) carried out a tour in the commune of Jérémie.

During this tour, constructive discussions took place around the functioning of the city's Drinking Water Supply System (SAEP).

The emphasis was mainly placed on the progress of the work which is co-financed by several entities of the European Union, for the benefit of DINEPA. Particularly, with a view to developing the Drinking Water and Sanitation sector in the Southern Region.

To return to the main point of the tour, it should be noted that the discussions focused on the various activities to be carried out in order to maintain the availability of water resources and the sustainability of the service in Jérémie and in the rest of Grand’ Anse.

With each initiative identical to the one that has just been carried out in Jérémie, DINEPA provides proof that it works tirelessly with the aim of satisfying the water needs of the Haitian population.
