Two changes in the PNH chain of command 19/04/2026 09:23:25
The Haitian National Police (PNH) has made two changes within its chain of command, specifically at the Southeast Departmental Directorate (DDSE) and the Intervention and Public Order Maintenance Corps (CIMO). These changes are solely aimed at strengthening the police presence and improving public safety throughout the Southeast Department, according to the PNH, which explains that it is adapting its command structure to respond more effectively to current security challenges. As of Thursday, April 16, 2026, Divisional Inspector Ronald St. Rose officially assumed command of the CIMO. He succeeds Divisional Commissioner Jean Louis Paul Ménard in this position. Furthermore, on Friday, April 17, Divisional Commissioner Appolos Villette was installed as the new Southeast Departmental Director, replacing Divisional Commissioner Magalie Belneau. He will be assisted by Chief Commissioner Mathias Jean David as Deputy Director, while Chief Commissioner Moriceau Jean Pierre Ketler will be in charge of the Jacmel district.
