The Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) is offering scholarships for master's and doctoral studies to Haitian students who have already completed at least a bachelor's or master's degree before their departure for Japan.

The Government of Japan announces the opening of applications for Haitian students for the 2027 and 2028 academic years.

To be eligible, applicants must be of Haitian nationality, under 35 years of age, and have completed a bachelor's or master's degree, or have an equivalent qualification from the host Japanese university, before their departure for Japan.

The scholarship recipient will be entitled to study in Japan for a minimum of two years.

The application deadline is June 12, 2027.
