The Haitian National Police (PNH) deeply regrets to announce the passing of its talented colleague, Eline Medastin, on May 4th, 2026, at Saint-Nicolas Hospital in Saint-Marc, following a stroke.

With her remarkable voice and high level of professionalism, Ms. Eline Medastin was a prominent figure in the "Allô la Police" segment, commonly known as "Anba Kòd" for over a decade. An emblematic figure within the police force, she leaves behind a valuable professional legacy, the impact of which will forever be etched in the history of the PNH and, indeed, in the history of the Haitian nation.

In this time of sorrow, the PNH also informs the public that it remains in constant contact with the family of the deceased to ensure all necessary arrangements are made following her passing.

The Haitian National Police (PNH) extends its deepest condolences to the bereaved family and loved ones of Ms. Eline Medastin, as well as to all members of the police force affected by this immeasurable loss. May her soul rest in peace.
