The General Inspectorate of Finance at the Law Fair 14/05/2026 09:48:15
A delegation representing the General Inspectorate of Finance (IGF) of Haiti, composed of Marie France H. Mondésir, Vice-President of the Superior Court of Accounts and Administrative Disputes (CSC/CA), Advisors Marie Neltha Fétière, Jean Ariel Joseph, and Pierre Volmar Demesyeux, as well as other officials, participated in the 13th edition of the Law Fair held in Pétion-Ville on the theme "Public Management Control : Legal Requirements, Institutional Mechanisms, and Foundations of Good Governance". The event brought together a wide range of public and professional institutions, including the Bar Associations of Port-au-Prince, Petit-Goâve, and Croix-des-Bouquets, the Central Financial Intelligence Unit (UCREF), the Anti-Corruption Unit (ULCC), the Office of Citizen Protection (OPC), the Superior Court of Auditors and Administrative Disputes (CSC/CA), the Haitian Chamber of Conciliation and Arbitration (CCAH), and the Office of the Secretary of State for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities. This edition also featured a moot court competition with teams from the Faculty of Law and Economics (FDSE), the National Institute of Administration, Management, and International Studies (INAGHEI), Quisqueya University (UNIQ), and Notre Dame University of Haiti (UNDH). An initiative praised for its contribution to the practical training of future lawyers and public administrators. Through its active participation, the General Inspectorate of Finance (IGF) reaffirms its commitment to promoting good governance, respecting public oversight standards, and strengthening legal and institutional culture in Haiti.
