A working session was held between members of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) and Vijonet Déméro, Minister of National Education, to strengthen institutional cooperation between the two entities.

Discussions focused, among other things, on the use of public school infrastructure, particularly national schools and high schools, to facilitate voter registration, which is expected to begin soon.

In this regard, several schools will be mobilized and made available to the CEP for both registration and the organization of the upcoming general elections. This approach aims to ensure greater access for citizens to exercise their right to vote throughout the country.

At the end of the meeting, the CEP and the Ministry agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding to govern collaboration between the two institutions throughout the ongoing electoral process.
