On Monday, May 25, 2026, the launch of the Master's program in Public Policy Analysis was held in the auditorium of the Rectorate of the State University of Haiti (UEH). Rector Dieuseul Prédélus and Jean Bouco Jean Jacques, Director General of the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), were in attendance.

At the ceremony, Dieubénite Alexis, the program's academic director, explained that this two-year program, housed within the Faculty of Law and Economics at UEH, addresses two needs: filling an academic gap and contributing to the country's economic recovery.

During the launch, a partnership agreement was signed between the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) and the State University of Haiti (UEH) to further integrate academia with the civil service, strengthen national capacities in designing analyses, evaluating and managing coherent public policies based on reliable data, rigorous analysis, and a long-term strategic vision, propose innovative solutions adapted to national realities, and promote good governance and academic excellence.

The ceremony concluded with remarks by former Prime Minister and Professor Jacques Edouard Alexis, who emphasized the importance of such a training program, which is expected to contribute to the sustainable and real development of our country.
