The President of the Municipal Commission, Mayor Michel Saint-Croix, visited the town's power plant to gather detailed information on the ongoing power outages affecting the population.

During his visit, the President of the Commission met with officials to discuss the current state of the grid, the technical challenges, and the measures needed to improve service for the benefit of the community.

For his part, the Departmental Director of Electricity of Haiti (EDH) explained several technical and operational issues affecting electricity production and distribution in the town. He indicated that the institution is working on corrective actions and assured residents that gradual improvements will be implemented to restore service under optimal conditions.

The Municipal Commission reiterates its commitment to continue monitoring this issue and collaborating with all relevant institutions to find sustainable and effective solutions to the energy problem in the city of Cap-Haitien.
