Miragoâne : The Ministry of Public Works in action

As part of preparations for the feast day (June 24) of Saint John the Baptist, patron saint of the city of Miragoâne, and while contributing to the strengthening of local infrastructure in the Nippes department, the Ministry of Public Works (MTPTC), through its Nippes Departmental Directorate, under the instructions of Engineer and Minister Pierre Louis, is continuing several projects aimed at improving road infrastructure and traffic conditions in the department.

In the municipality of Miragoâne, road resurfacing work with the addition of materials is currently underway on the Savane Ouest/Chalon Bò Moïse section. Ministry teams are also removing debris and cleaning culverts in the localities of Bouzi, Chalon, and Jean Simon to facilitate water runoff and ensure the proper functioning of drainage structures.

Concurrently, other projects are being carried out in Petite-Rivière-de-Nippes, particularly in the Ka Manni and Bernadelle areas. These works include the opening of a new road designed to improve community access and facilitate travel for local residents.

These projects are part of the preparations for the Feast of Saint John the Baptist, while also contributing to the strengthening of local infrastructure in the Nippes department.

These works reflect the commitment of the Ministry of Public Works, Transport and Communications (MTPTC), under the leadership of Minister Pierre Louis, to maintain its presence alongside local communities by promoting the improvement of infrastructure and the quality of life for the population.
