The Grenadiers U-20 men's national team continues its preparation in Port-au-Prince for the final phase of the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean (CONCACAF) qualifiers for the 2027 FIFA U-20 World Cup co-hosted by Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan during the month of May 2027

Our young Grenadiers, from several Haitian Football League (Division 1 clubs having recently participated in the (LHF) championship), are working hard to convince the technical staff and secure one of the 21 places on the final list.

During a friendly match played on Saturday June 27, Haiti beat FC Flambeau with a score of [4-0]. François Jean Wikelson scored twice, while Clavens Exantus and Jean Elickenson added a goal each to seal the great victory. The team continues its preparation with the aim of securing one of the four Concacaf qualifying tickets for the 2027 FIFA U-20 World Cup

This Concacaf U-20 Championship, which will serve as a qualifying phase for the 2027 FIFA U-20 World Cup and the 2028 Olympic Games, will take place in Mexico from July 25 to August 9, 2026. The matches will be played at the Estadio Universitario BUAP and Estadio Cuauhtémoc, located in the city of Puebla, as well as at the Estadio Banorte, in Mexico City.

Competition format :

The top two teams from each group, as well as the two best third-placed teams, will qualify for the quarter-finals. The four teams that reach the semi-finals will book their ticket to the 2027 FIFA U-20 World Cup, while the two finalists will represent Concacaf at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.

Haiti is placed in Group A alongside the United States, Cuba and El Salvador.
