Are you a published French-language author (at least 1 book with a publisher) and living in Africa or Haiti ? The Francophone Writing Residency Africa-Haiti 2027 is a 12-week residency, running from February 1st to April 30th, 2027. It is divided between 8 weeks in Nouvelle-Aquitaine (France) and 4 weeks at the Villa Saint-Louis Ndar in Senegal (West Africa).

Schedule :

February 2027 : Villa Saint-Louis Ndar (Senegal) (4 weeks)

March 2027 : Villa Valmont in Lormont (Nouvelle-Aquitaine) (4 weeks)

April 2027 : Maison des Écritures in La Rochelle (Nouvelle-Aquitaine) (4 weeks)

This Francophone writing residency is for writers wishing to develop a literary project: novel, poetry, graphic novel, illustration, or any other form of literary creation.
