Reminder : Major Moot Court Competition, registration open

The Office of Citizen Protection reminds you that you have until July 31, 2026, to register for the Grand Moot Court Competition, which this year will focus on the theme "Women's Rights and Elections". This competition is open to students in grades NS1 to NS4 and university and higher education institution students.

Categories :

• Students : Grades NS1 to NS4;

• University and Higher Education Institution Students

Sub-themes : (choose one)

• Participation and representation of women in Haitian political life;

• Challenges and prospects for inclusive political participation

Objectives :

• To raise awareness of women's rights;

• To develop the art of argumentation and public speaking;

• To encourage civic engagement and youth leadership;

• To promote gender equality.

Evaluation Criteria :

Mastery of the subject; quality of argumentation; eloquence and oral expression; and originality of analysis.

Participation and Selection Criteria:

A text of no more than 1,000 words. Font: Times New Roman, Size : 12, Line spacing: 1.5. Margins: 2.5 cm (top, bottom, left, right);

A 90-second video of the text, format : landscape (16:9), clear voice, without background noise or echo;

A piece of identification accompanied by a school or university certificate duly signed by the dean or the school administration.

Deadline : July 31, 2026
