As part of the Program to Strengthen Safety Nets for Vulnerable Populations (HA-J0005), the Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES) announced the start of construction on 160 cubic meters of gabions in Morne Grepin, in the 3rd Communal Section of Rivière Blanche, Gros Morne, in the Artibonite Department.

The work is being carried out under the supervision of Care, an organization specializing in community initiatives.

The Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) is financing this project, providing a source of income for 81 community members, including 41 women, who will have the opportunity to support their families through the employment generated by this project.
