The Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) informs registered political parties that it will register political party groups from Monday, July 13 to Friday, July 17, 2026, and political party alliances from Wednesday, July 22 to Monday, July 27, 2026, in accordance with the provisions of Article 128 of the Electoral Decree of June 2nd, 2026.

At the time of registration, the duly authorized representative of each political party group or alliance is required to appear at the CEP's central office between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., with the following documents :

1. The original notarized articles of incorporation of the approved political party group or coalition, its statutes, and its objectives;

2. The original notarized document stipulating the agreement regarding the use of a single emblem for the political party group or coalition;

3. The acronym, emblem, and colors adopted for the identification of the political party group or coalition;

4. The original notarized minutes appointing a legal representative for the political party group or coalition;

5. A color copy of the valid National Identification Number (NINU) card of the representative of the political party group or coalition.

IMPORTANT : Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

Furthermore, the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) informs the general public and political actors in particular of the publication of the list of 320 approved political parties authorized to proceed to the next stages of the electoral process.
