On Monday, July 13, 2026, the General Inspectorate of the Haitian National Police (IGPNH) officially launched a training session for officers of the 36th promotion, from the second cohort of the P4000+ Program. This five-day training session was held in the Media Room at the PNH Headquarters and presided over by Inspector General Jean Maurest Étienne, Director of Human Resources for the Police Force. These training days aim to strengthen the knowledge of the 36th graduating class officers regarding the missions of the IGPNH, ethical principles, values and police conduct, respect for human rights, and the rules governing the use of force, in order to promote professional conduct consistent with the values and requirements of the Haitian National Police. This training session, led by officers from the Inspector General's office, is designed for various police units deployed across the country's departments. The first day brought together approximately sixty officers assigned to the North Department. Through this initiative, the P4000+ Program aims to continuously enhance the skills of officers deployed in the field to better address current security challenges and effectively ensure public safety throughout the country.
