As part of its 4th funding cohort, the BRH Fund for Research and Development (FRD-BRH) announces that the submission period for scientific research projects has been extended.

Submissions are now open until September 30, 2026, in several priority areas, including artificial intelligence, fintech and financial inclusion, MSMEs, public security, traditional medicine, and key sectors of the Haitian economy.

The FRD-BRH website is currently undergoing maintenance, but you can still prepare your application by gathering the required information and documents.

Here are the main elements to include in a complete application.

Application Content & General Information :

The application must include a comprehensive document of no more than 5 pages presenting the essential elements for project evaluation.

Your application must specify :

The title of the research project; the field of activity or sector concerned; The applicant category (individual, legal entity, institution, or consortium); the project location; the total project cost; the requested funding; and the project duration.

Project Management & Presentation :

A project manager must be appointed for the research. They will coordinate the work and be the FRD-BRH's primary contact throughout the process. The following information must be provided: First name; Last name; Tax Identification Number (TIN); Email address; Telephone number; and Home address.

Submission Requirements :

Your submission must include: A project summary; the rationale for the research; the methodology used; the objectives; the project scope; and the team plan and composition.

Your submission must specify :

The research project timeline and the detailed project budget.

The application must include :

Qualifications of all members of the research team; Curriculum Vitae (CVs) of all team members, including the project manager.
