NOTICE - Legalization of diplomas and transcripts

NOTICE - Legalization of diplomas and transcripts

As part of its service modernization efforts, the Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training (MENFP) is providing details on the legalization of diplomas and transcripts for students in primary, secondary, teacher training colleges (ENI), and family education centers (CEF).

1. Introduction of a new secure format :

Paper versions of diplomas and transcripts certifying completion of primary, secondary, teacher training colleges (ENI), and family education centers (CEF) are now available at the Ministry's central office and in the various departmental education directorates (DDE). This new format includes a unique QR code, allowing any institution or third party to instantly verify the document's authenticity online and securely.

2. Decentralization of the Legal Affairs Directorate (DAJ) Legalization Service :

To simplify administrative procedures for users and alleviate the burden on the central office, the DAJ legalization service of the Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training (MENFP) is now decentralized. It is directly accessible at each Departmental Directorate of Education (DDE). The legalization of diplomas and transcripts is carried out only upon presentation of the receipt from the General Directorate of Taxes (DGI) corresponding to the required fees.

3. Joint Legalization with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs :

For international authentication purposes, these documents will be jointly legalized by the competent service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs present in each department of the country.

The MENFP strongly urges all stakeholders, particularly applicants, to strictly adhere to these new geographical and procedural guidelines. This strict compliance will guarantee the speed, authenticity, and accuracy of the processing of each application.
