Divisional Commissioner Appolos Villette, Departmental Director of Police for the Southeast, participated in a meeting of the Southeast Departmental Security Council on July 20, 2026, held at Jacmel City Hall.

During this meeting, which brought together various departmental authorities, particular emphasis was placed on the opening of the K-Jacques road, located in Seguin (Marigot municipality).

Following this meeting, Divisional Commissioner Villette, accompanied by his deputy, Chief Commissioner Mathias Jean David; his Chief of Staff, Municipal Commissioner Gary Victor; and Municipal Commissioner Allan Berrouet, Head of the Departmental Administrative Police Service, visited the voter registration offices located at the Pinchinat and Célie Lamour high schools in Jacmel to ensure the smooth running of operations.

Furthermore, the Departmental Director, accompanied by his command team, met with the new officers of the 36th graduating class of the Haitian National Police (PNH), recently deployed to the Southeast Department.
