Tiburon : Infrastructure and elections

To ensure smooth traffic flow during the upcoming elections, Engineer Joseph Almathe Pierre Louis, Minister of Public Works, conducted a monitoring and assessment mission in the municipality of Tiburon.

The mission aimed to restore the road network to good condition and ensure its safety, making it a key factor in the success of the electoral process.

The Minister made his first stop in the Chevalier area. He and his delegation inspected the ongoing infrastructure work, particularly at the Blèk River, to verify compliance with technical standards and ensure that users could cross the river safely.

Continuing his journey towards downtown Tiburon, Minister Pierre Louis visited the section of road in the Tapion area, which has been severely damaged by coastal erosion. Given this urgent situation, measures will be taken very quickly to prevent the road from collapsing, protect the coastline, and rehabilitate the road.

This visit demonstrates the government's commitment to maintaining close ties with local communities. By modernizing the national road network, particularly in the most isolated areas, the Ministry reaffirms its determination to open up these regions, facilitate population mobility, and guarantee access to polling stations for high voter turnout.
