The Consulate of Haiti in Montreal signed a Memorandum of Understanding with DameSara Canada, a leader in the supply of ethnic and multicultural products, in the presence of institutional, governmental, economic, and community representatives.

Anès Lubin, Head of Mission, emphasized the Consulate's role in facilitating and supporting economic and trade relations between the two countries, particularly through the creation of exchange opportunities and mechanisms.

On behalf of DameSara Canada, Isaac Bosquet, President and CEO, highlighted trade missions, market access, support for entrepreneurs, and improved access to financing and credit.

The ceremony also provided an opportunity to present the soybean sector development project in Haiti, on which DameSara Canada has been working since 2019. The results are considered encouraging, with opportunities in the food, agribusiness, and commercial sectors, as well as in international markets.

The signing of the MoU marks a new stage in cooperation. The event concluded with professional networking, official photo sessions, and a tasting.

Next step : transforming this collaboration into concrete initiatives, trade missions, and partnerships that foster economic exchange between Haiti and Canada.
