NOTICE : Measures taken by the DCPR for the start of the school year
The Directorate of Traffic and Road Police (DCPR) announces the measures taken for the start of the school year. Specific Measures : Three-Wheeled Motorcycles : The Haitian National Police (PNH) prohibits all three-wheeled motorcycle taxi drivers from operating on the main road in Delmas, from the Alix Roy intersection to Pétion-Ville, as well as on the Juvenat-Pétion-Ville road. Towing : The towing service will increase its operations to tow illegally parked vehicles from the roads. Relocation : To ease congestion on the Delmas 33 road and improve traffic flow, the police announce the relocation of transportation hubs in this area to the Airport intersection. TRANSPORT : The DCPR will deploy its officers on various roads to facilitate the safe movement of students, parents, and educational staff. ONE-WAY : The police inform drivers that Bois-Verna and Avenue Jean-Paul II are to operate as one-way streets only. On Bois-Verna, vehicles must descend, and on Avenue Jean-Paul II, they must ascend.
