The Economic and Social Assistance Fund (FAES) continues its actions aimed at facilitating travel for residents of the commune of Les Anglais, in the South department. With this in mind, the construction work on the road to Vérone, located in the first municipal section, has been completed.

Carried out as part of the "Program to Strengthen Safety Nets for Vulnerable Populations (HA-J0005)", this work constitutes a great relief for the local population. They were financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and executed under the supervision of the Association of Volunteers for International Service (AVSI), an organization specializing in community initiatives.

The project also contributed to revitalizing the local economy by creating direct jobs for 84 heads of family.
