A delegation from the Cap-Haitien City Hall, led by Mayor Michel St-Croix, accompanied by Deputy Mayor Edeline Jean and municipal administration staff, was received in Madrid by Wooldy Edson Louidor, Haiti's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain.

In a cordial and constructive atmosphere, discussions focused on the results of this mission and on opportunities to develop new cooperative relationships for the benefit of Cap-Haitien.

The discussions focused on exploring the possibility of connecting the municipality with Spanish companies specializing in the collection, processing, recycling, and recovery of waste, particularly metal waste.

The delegation also discussed the search for scholarship and training programs that could offer new opportunities to young people and students in Cap-Haïtien.

Mayor St-Croix and Deputy Mayor Jean thanked Ambassador Louidor for his warm welcome, his availability, and the interest he showed in the cooperation efforts undertaken by the Municipal Commission.
