NOTICE : Baccalaureate Certificates and Transcripts

On Friday, October 2nd, 2026, Vijonet Déméro, the Minister of National Education, announced at a press conference that, starting next week, baccalaureate certificates and transcripts will be available at the Departmental Directorates of Education (DDE) in the Greater South, namely Nippes, Grand'Anse, South, and Southeast.

According to the Minister, this restructuring primarily aims to spare students living outside the departmental capitals the costly, tiring, and risky journeys to Port-au-Prince to collect their academic documents.

The Minister emphasized that the delivery of certificates and transcripts is a crucial step in each student's academic journey. These documents are prerequisites for access to higher education, vocational training, and the job market. "Every young person who completes their studies has the right to an official document, issued within a reasonable timeframe and under impeccable security and transparency conditions," Déméro asserted.

He also outlined the practical details of this service b: the documents, all legalized and sent to the DDE (Departmental Directorate of Education), will be given to the individuals concerned upon presentation of the receipts issued in their names by the General Directorate of Taxes (DGI). In this regard, he encouraged high school graduates and school principals to prioritize official channels to avoid any irregular procedures or unauthorized intermediaries who might try to extort money from them.

For the Great North region (North, Northeast, Northwest, Artibonite, and Central departments) and the West department, these documents will be available at the DDE offices starting the second week of October.

In the meantime, all high school graduates nationwide can download digital versions of these documents, if needed, from the Ministry's website : www.menfp.gouv.ht
