Kenscoff : High-level security visit

The Acting Commander of the Haitian National Police (PNH), leading a high-ranking delegation, is on a field visit to Kenscoff to oversee law enforcement operations in the recaptured areas.

Vladimir Paraison, the Acting Commander of the PNH, accompanied by Inspector General Fernel Saintil, Central Director of Administrative Police (DCPA), Inspector Carl Henry Boucher, Liaison Officer between the PNH and the Gang Repression Force (FRG), and Divisional Commissioner Yvon Cantave, DDO-1, visited the commune of Kenscoff with several members of the GSF Command, including Major General Mongol Erdenebat Batsuuri, Commander-in-Chief of the FRG, whose mission is to support the PNH in strengthening security measures throughout the country.

This visit aimed to supervise and assess the work of law enforcement on the ground and to take the necessary measures to consolidate the areas they have recaptured, particularly Bois-d’Avril, Nan Gode, Viard 1 and Viard 2, as well as Ofelina.

These areas served as bases for armed terrorist groups before the intervention of law enforcement, which enabled the PNH to regain control of several strategic locations in the commune of Kenscoff.

The visit allowed the PNH Commander and the GSF Command to assess the operational deployment and strengthen coordination between the forces, with the goal of consolidating their presence in the recaptured areas.

During the visit, Paraison encouraged law enforcement to maintain their mobilization and vigilance on the ground, while consolidating their gains.
