On Wednesday, October 14, 2026, as part of efforts to strengthen security in the Delmas district, the Haitian National Police (PNH) opened a police station in Delmas 19, named "Antenne 19". Several officials participated in the official opening of this station.

Despite the PNH's limited resources, the station was built in a relatively short timeframe. It will allow police officers to maintain a permanent presence in Delmas 19 to protect citizens and businesses operating in the area.

Several officials participated in the official opening of this station, including Chief Commissioner Mackenzy Hector, Deputy Director of the West 1 Department; Chief Commissioner Nacius Junior Lacombe, head of the Delmas jurisdiction; and Municipal Commissioner Mecker Jean Marie, head of Community Policing, as well as Divisional Inspector Eugène Georges, head of human resources at the Delmas 33 Police Station.

Furthermore, Divisional Inspector Georges installed Municipal Inspector Wilner Dorlean as head of the new police station.
