As part of the ongoing monitoring of road infrastructure projects, the Minister of Public Works, Engineer Joseph Almathe Pierre Louis,accompanied by technicians and officials from the Ministry,conducted an inspection visit to the rehabilitation site on Boulevard 15 Octobre.

The Minister visited the site to assess the progress of the work and ensure compliance with the standards established by his Ministry. To guarantee greater durability and ensure smooth traffic flow for users of this strategic thoroughfare, the roadway will be constructed using hydraulic concrete. This technical choice will enable the infrastructure to better withstand the stresses of heavy traffic and adverse weather conditions.

Minister Pierre Louis specifically commended the involvement of the local workforce in carrying out these works. Prioritizing the use of human resources from the area aligns with the Ministry’s commitment to integrating local communities into the development of public projects, while simultaneously creating direct employment opportunities.

To minimize traffic congestion and disruptions during the day, work at the site will primarily be carried out at night. The Ministry extends its sincere thanks to road users and local residents for their patience, understanding, and cooperation regarding the temporary inconveniences caused by these operations.
