Projects of Ministry of Tourism for the North
Last week, at the Council of Government decentralized, Stéphanie Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism has presented tourism projects for the North including: the construction of a reception booth at the airport of Cap-Haitien, the signaling Ecotourism to the National Historic Park, preliminary work of sealing to the atterie Croix David (Citadelle Henry), the construction of the touristic market, the organization of parking Choiseul (kiosks, stalls for horses, toilets), the organization of the tourist reception in Ouanaminthe, the tourist development of Sans Souci (kiosks, restrooms, renovation of the craft market) and the support to the Festival of the Sea, Cap Haitien (July 13 to 15).

Moïse Jean-Charles is against a Permanent Electoral Council
The Senator Moïse Jean-Charles, said he was against the organization of the forthcoming parliamentary and municipal elections by a Permanent Electoral Council. Pending the establishment of necessary structures, the Senator suggested that the forthcoming elections are organized by a last Provisional Electoral Council.

Construction of 20,000 social housing
The Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe announced Tuesday, the intention of his Government to build 20.000 housing within the next 4 years. According to the Head of Government, 3,000 will be built in Morne Cabrits, 2,500 others in the free zone of Caracol, and the rest in various parts of the country.

More space for inmates
Each inmate of the new Civil Prison of Croix des Bouquets, built in the respect of the ights of detainees and international standards, have an area of 3.30 m2 unlike the National Penitentiary, where every prisoner must live his detention in an average space of 0.45 m2.
