Lucien Jura, Spokesman of the presidency, confirmed that the President Michel Martelly was currently in Florida for a trip of private nature. "Ede Pep" to the Gonaïves, in Cavaillon and to Maniche

The social program "Ede Pep" went to Gonaives to distribute more than 2,500 food baskets of solidarity, to Cavaillon in the South and in Maniche. Meanwhile the Fund of Economic and Social Assistance (FAES) received a donation of Mexico, of 2,500 food kits.

The National Selection, soon in Grenada

From 12 to 19 November, the national selection senior will travel to Grenada to compete in the second phase of the Digicel Cup. It will face Grenada (host country), French Guiana and British Guiana. The teams finishing in first and second position, of two groups, will join Antigua & Barbuda, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic and Martinique to play 3 to 15 December 2012 the final phase of the Digicel Cup. The top four teams of this finals will qualify for the 12th edition of the Gold Cup, which will take place in July 2013, in the United States.
