Olden Polynice new Roving Ambassador

Olden Polynice, Haitian former basketball player, born November 21, 1964 in Port-au-Prince, who played center for the Seattle SuperSonics, Los Angeles Clippers, Detroit Pistons, Sacramento Kings, and Utah Jazz of the National Basketball Association, became this morning during a ceremony at the National Palace, Roving ambassador for Haiti.

Presentation of Certificate in International Arbitration

The Chamber of Conciliation and Arbitration of Haiti (CCHA) will proceed to a certificate ceremony this afternoon, to awyers and judges who took part in training on international arbitration organized in partnership with the International Senior Lawyers Project (ISLP).

Increase in the food allowance for PNH

Wednesday, Godson Orélus Director of the National Police of Haiti (PNH) has informed that the food allowance allocated to agents of the institution, has been increased, from 4,000 Gourdes to 5,000 Gourdes.

Exploratory visit of Air Transat in Haiti

Following the last tour in Canada, of Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism, where she met some officials of Air Transat [Canadian company based in Montreal], a delegation of Air Transat, composed of Ms. Renée Boisvert, Vice President Products and Ms. Pascale Hilaire, Purchaser, made an exploratory visit to Haiti.
