Drawing contest for children
The European Union, which will receive the Nobel Peace Prize on December 10, organizes with the support of the FOKAL in Martissant, a drawing competition for children aged 6 to 18 years on the theme "EU and non-violence". Children who wish to participate can register at the office of the FOKAL of Martissant until 23 November 2012. The deadline for submission of drawings is December 4. The awards ceremony will take place on December 11 at Martissant. Total wants to bring solar light in Haiti...
The French oil company Total announced that it extended its commercial offer Awango, of solar lamps in Haiti, Africa and Asia. By the end of 2013, Awango will be deployed in eight new countries: Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Haiti, Myanmar, Nigeria, Senegal and Uganda, said the group. These lamps and accessories are sold commercially between 10 and 90 dollars each, according to a spokesman of Total.
