In 2012, the DNCD arrested 629 people including 484 Haitian
During 2012, the Dominican National Directorate for Drug Control (DNCD) arrested 629 people, including Colombia, Venezuela, Puerto Rican, Dominican, American, Italian, Canadian, French, Russian, Uganda, Czechs, Belgians and 484 Haitians. These people were charged for use and trafficking of drugs in separate incidents in the Dominican Republic. The most important traffickers are Colombian, Venezuelan and Puerto Rican, formed in powerful gang with connections in Europe and the United States.

Haiti presented in a clip on board flights of Virgin America
Wednesday, Rocks Haiti Project interviewed Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin the Minister of Tourism in order to promote Haiti in one of the greatest clips promoting Haiti and that will be filmed and broadcast to nearly 6.5 million passengers on board flights of Virgin America. The objective is to encourage passengers of Virgin America, going to the Dominican Republic to extend their stay in Haiti.

David André in the 3rd Biennial "Ibéro-americana de Diseno"
The Haitian stylist David André was invited to the third biennial "Ibéro-americana de Diseno" in Madrid. Several pieces from his collection called "Choukoune" will be exhibited during the inaugural week of November 26 to 30, 2012.
