"Follow Jah" to the 24th edition of "Festival Africolor"

Jean Biscinthe, Serge Cherilus, Chilthon Lamour, Ferne Nozile, Pascal Victor, Lourdy Rejouis, 6 musicians of the walking band of Petion-ville "Follow Jah", [founded in 2001], leave the country this Sunday 2 December to participate in the 24th edition of the "Festival Africolor" of Paris. The 2013 edition proposes a selection of artists from Africa and the Caribbean presented in 24 concerts in different places of Ile de France, from 17 to 24 December 2012.

New Honorary Consul of Haiti in Conakry

November 30, 2012, was installed in office the new Honorary Consul of Haiti in Conakry [Guinea]. Mr. Ousmane Camara, replaces his compatriot Guinean, Dr. Gabriel Sultan who held the honorary position for over 20 years. Speaking, the new Honorary Consul of Haiti stated that "[...] My mission is to defend and protect the interests of the Haitian Republic in Guinea, to contribute to the strengthening of relations [...] to ensure that the Haitian government take advantage of my address book, my relationships, but also and especially to strengthen relations with Guinea from all points of view."

Deep gratitude of the Haitian Government

The Consul General of the Republic of Haiti in New York, Mr. Charles Antoine Forbin, presented as a sign of gratitude of the Haitian Government, a plaque of honor to Dr. Richard Becker, CEO of the hospital Brooklyn. The hospital had donated $10,000 to the Foundation "Hope and Health for Haiti", which finances health project in Ile-A-Vache and in Carries.
