Gala fundraising to save the environment
The Foundation Seguin announces a Gala fundraising to save our environment, will be screened on this occasion, in first, the documentary film "Haïti la valeur de l'exemple" winner of Terra Festival. 7th edition of the Francophone Games
For the 7th edition of the Francophone Games to be held in Nice, France in September 2013, 6 Haitian artists, including a group were selected. They are Eddy Jean Rémy (sculpture), Chelson Ermoza (story), JeanJean Roosevelt (song), Dieulerme Petit-Frère (short story) Pierre Michel Jean (photography) and the group Uni-step (street art hip-hop). 66 Haitian participants were auditioned by a committee of the International Organization of la Francophonie in 10 different categories. This edition of the Francophone Games 2013 will host 3.000 youth from different countries speaking French in Nice in three categories namely : sports, digital art and cultural sector.

Seminar on Free Zones and tariff preferences
State University of Haiti has announced that it organizes from 3 to 7 December 2012 a seminar on Free Zones and tariff preferences in its premises located at # 3 Street Pacot. This seminar will bring together specialists of Foreign Trade and of special trade regimes from the University, of Public Sector, the business sector and of commercial services of diplomatic missions accredited in Haiti, will provide the opportunity to provide an update on the tariff preferences enjoyed by Haiti, the actual situation and perspectives of Free Zones and industrial parks as well as the criteria and conditions for success of these regimes, note that this seminar has received the support of the World Trade Organization.

Environmental program "Bonjour 2013"
Donald parison, the Director General of the Metropolitan Solid Waste Collection Service (SMCRS) announces the launch of a new program "Bonjour 2013", which will begin December 5, 2012 and ending January 5, 2013, aims to clean up the Haitian capital during the holiday season. The population will have to collect items in polystyrene. Participants who will have collected 500 plates and 500 bags, whose 200 black, will receive 100 gourdes and a ticket to participate in a draw with numerous prizes : ovens, refrigerators, mobile phones, laptop computers and motorcycles.
