Gabriel Fils-Aimé new Director of the DOE

Thursday, Gabriel Fils-Aimé was installed as Director of the Directorate of Electoral Operations (DOE),he replaces Mr. Louiner Jean-Marie,who held the position for 3 years. Mr. Fils-Aimé has promised to be at the height of the confidence placed in him, and sought the cooperation of all members of the Executive.

EDH is active on the course of the National Carnival

This week, in Cap-Haitien, on the course of the National Carnival, mobile units of Electricity of Haiti, worked to the establishment of new poles and to the rehabilitation of some line overlooking the streets to avoid accidents, at the passages of allegorical floats and musical. Stéphanie met the tourism operators

Friday Stéphanie Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism, met with tourism operators involved in the packages "Transat Holidays." Distribution of two corn mills

Thursday, within the framework of strengthening of the program to make economically independent the Haitian women, particularly rural women, Marie Yanick Mezile, Minister for the Status of Women and Women's Rights, proceeded to the distribution of two corn mill, to leaders of women's organizations in the sixth communal section la Croix.

Marie-Andrée Raymond Jeudy "Mantoute" passed away...

Marie-Andrée Raymond Jeudy "Mantoute", evening in her private residence, she played the role of "Mantoute" within the "Troupe Languichatte" both in Haiti and abroad. In years 80 and 90 she played the female lead in the TV series "Languichatte au XX ème Siècle"... In addition, the Ministry of Haitians Living Abroad (MHAVE) presents its condolences to the family of the deceased, to her allies and the Haitian society that has lost a mapou.
