Important meeting on the environment of Morne l'Hôpital

Friday was held at the Hotel Le Plaza, a workshop between Jean François Thomas, the Minister of the Environment and 134 Community Organizations of Morne L'Hopital, to decide on a final resolution on the beginning of work of protection and stabilization to curb deforestation in Morne l'Hôpital.

3rd Gala of ASHAPS

Thursday, at the 3rd Gala of ASHAPS, Magalie Racine Minister of Youth, Sports and Civic Action, presented the award of Best Sportsman of the Year 2012 to Samyr Lainé, the the award for Best director for the year 2012 to Ms. Margaret Graham, and Frandy Montrévil was elected best goalkeeper (Ballon d'Or) for the year 2012 of national championship, won by his club Valencia.

Evaluation of strengthening of 5 municipalities of Northwest

On Friday, the Office of Human Resources Management (OMRH) hosted and facilitated the meeting of restitution of an evaluation conducted at the end of a strengthening program of 5 municipalities in the North West, funded by the European Union. Took part in this meeting, representatives of the FAES, MICT, CIAT, MPCE, of organizations "Intiative Developement" and ADEMA and some senior technical of the OMRH.

Preliminary business plan of Jacmel

On Friday, as part of the revitalization of the historic center of Jacmel Stéphanie Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism, met with property owners of the region, to the bureau of the Delegation of Southeast. The purpose of this meeting was to present the draft Business Plan of Jacmel, through a tourism development strategy. The Minister of Tourism took the opportunity to visit projects in the department include: the House of Crafts, the Museum of papier-mâché, the convention center, the place of the Grande Colombie, Congo beach, beach Raymond-les-Bains and other private sector investment.
