Swedish enterprise delegation

Monday, Pierre-Richard Casimir, the Foreign Minister held a meeting with Swedish Ambassador Mr. Claes Hammar who was accompanied by a delegation of Swedish Enterprise and of the Representative of Swedish Council for Exports and Investments.

Vaccination against cholera

The Ministry of Health wants to reduce the annual incidence rate of cholera in Haiti from 3% to about 0.5% and allow 80% of the population, especially those living in remote areas to have access to potable water . The Ministry also plans to vaccinate 30 to 40% of these vulnerable populations, or 600,000 people. For now, the vaccine will be launched in three municipalities, les Perches (North East), Quartier-Morin (North) et Lascahobas (Centre)

Package Transat-Canada in exploratory visit

Friday, the Regional Office North of the Ministry of Tourism, received Mrs. Pascale Hillaire of Package Transat-Canada for a two-days exploratory visit, in the Destination North. This tour was for Mrs. Hillaire the occasion to test the quality of service of Cap-Haitien Hotels and of tour operators of Northeast to offer a package for Winter to Canadian tourists arriving from Puerto Plata to come and experience the Destination North.
