Traceability of food products

he Ministry of Commerce and Industry welcomed the signing of the agreement on the transfer of technology to ensure the traceability of food products. This project was strongly supported by the Ministry on behalf of the Haitian government, at the 24th Intersessional Meeting of the Conference of Heads of State and Government of CARICOM, last month in Haiti.

Training of over 11,000 teachers and principals

Gustave Joseph, Head of the Directorate of Training and Development (CRD) of the Ministry of Education, indicated that the Ministry would organize in favor of 11.391 teachers and principals, a third series of training of 5 days, in all 10 departments. Principals will be trained on the evaluation of learning ; pedagogical supervision and leadership in schools. While teachers will be trained on the evaluation of learning modules and lesson planning.
