New bureau elected at the head of CNO
A new Bureau was elected at the head of the National Council of Electoral Observation, CNO, it is composed of: Patrick Labbée, General Coordinator; Kenson Polynices, Deputy Coordinator; Belotte Joachim, Secretary General; Myrtha Douyon, Assistant Secretary; Barthélemy Amboise, Treasurer and Delpé Jacques, Assistant Treasurer.

CFI's mission in Jacmel
Mrs. Elodie Lefort of the Investment Facilitation Center (CFI) conducted a mission of two Planners, Landon Anderson and John Williams of the Williams Architects firm of New Orleans in Jacmel. A meeting with the local authorities, officials of Technical Bureau of the Historic Center and the Jacmel School Workshop was held at the tourist office of the south-east. A visit is scheduled with residents of the historic center of Jacmel.

Conference of Presidents
April 2 at 10 am in the cafeteria of the Senate, will take place the Conference of Presidents, which will be followed by a plenary session. The following points are included in the proposed agenda : Message from the President of the Senate; Information relating to the participation of the Senate delegation to the 128th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in Quito, Ecuador, from March 22 to 27, 2013; Motivation of Senators around their regular presence in the Plenary Assembly sessions ; analysis of the political situation of the country; Questions of general interest.

Training on Environmental Assessment
From Monday 25 to Thursday 28 March 2013, at the Hotel Montana, in the follow-up for the establishment of a team of experts in environmental impact assessment, was held the 2nd phase of a training on environmental assessment under the auspices of the Ministry of Environment, in collaboration with UNDP / OIF / SIFÉE / IFDD / Hydro Quebec / GEIGER. This training aims to strengthen the capacity of strategic intervention and environmental protection towards the sustainable development.

Strengthening and support to Local Authorities
Tuesday, Major David Basile, Minister of the Interior and Territorial Communities, conducted an important meeting in his office with several foreign partners and some mayors of Haiti, members of the Executive Committee of the City Council of the Region of Palmes (CMRP). These discussions between the Minister, the cooperating international and local authorities, focused on major points, which fall in the context of strengthening and the support to Local Authorities and to certain entities associated with Municipalities.
