Project of "Tourist Park of Northeast"

The Consulate General of the Republic of Haiti in Pointe-à-Pitre Guadeloupe / Martinique / Saint-Martin (French part) and Dominica, indicated that, in the framework of the business diplomacy advocated by the Government Martelly-Lamothe, a delegation of the consular mission, will accompanies from 15 to 17 April 2013, two investors of Martinique to present to the Haitian government, a project entitled "Tourist Park of Northeast".

Bad ranking for the Grenadiers

After having lost 4 friendlies matches against Chile (3-0), Bolivia (2-1), Oman (3-0) and the Dominican Republic (3-1), the Grenadiers continue to decline in the world ranking of the FIFA, positioning themselves to the 61st place, losing in March 11 places compared to February. Mobile canteen, training of young

In the perspective of the implementation of a Mobile canteen in the North East, young people from different towns of this department receive currently a training on how to use the equipment and prepare cooking for many (4,000 meals per truck). Accompanied by the Departmental Delegate of Northeast, Hugo Chares, these youth are ready to join the big family of "Kantin Mobil", to serve the community of North East.

Inauguration of new buildings at the National Penitentiary

Thursday, several new buildings were inaugurated at the National Penitentiary, 6 training rooms, a multipurpose room and a toilet block, achieved with the support of the Minustah. These works are according to prison officials aims to improve the conditions of detention at the National Penitentiary.
