Thursday, Bernice Fidelia, the Minister of Haitians Living Abroad (MHAVE) met in Turks and Caicos Islands (TCI), the Prime Minister of the island, Dr. Rufus Ewing. There was discussion about illegal migration of Haitians in the archipelago, deforestation, trade and investment opportunities. Minister Fidelia is committed to work with the government of TCI to inform the Haitian of the North Coast of Haiti about the "realities of illegal trips in the Turks and Caicos and the legal approach if they want to visit and work in the islands." Meeting on the finalization of tourist sites This week, Stéphanie Balmir Villedrouin, the Minister of Tourism held a working meeting with various departmental directors regarding the finalization process of the various development projects of tourist sites, engaged in their respective regions (South, Southeast and Northeast).
